Privacy policy
Last updated 25 September 2026
In short
- There's no account. The game never asks for your name, email address or phone number.
- Your progress is saved on your phone. We don't run servers that store your game data, and the game has no analytics service of our own.
- Ads come through Appodeal and its advertising partners, which receive device information and your advertising ID.
- Google Play handles payments. We never see your card or UPI details.
- This website uses no cookies, analytics or forms.
1. Who we are
Mithai Mela is published by INSERT_PUBLISHER_NAME_HERE (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Mithai Mela Android app (package com.sonh.mithaimela) and this website.
Questions or requests: email us.
2. Information kept on your phone
The game saves your progress in its private storage on your phone. This includes levels, stars and scores; coins, boosters and lives; settings such as language, sound, vibration and reminders; your chosen companion; Sweet Club streaks, events and tournament results; and a record of purchases so the coins you bought are delivered.
This save stays on your phone and is not sent to us. It's removed when you uninstall the game or clear its storage. If Android backup is switched on, Android may include app data in your Google backup; that is managed by Google and your device settings.
3. Advertising
The game is free and funded partly by ads. It uses the Appodeal software development kit (SDK) to show banner ads on menus, occasional full-screen ads after a win, and reward videos you choose to watch. Appodeal selects ads from advertising partners. The SDK in this app can work with networks including Google AdMob and Ad Manager, Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, BidMachine, Mintegral, Unity Ads, Liftoff (Vungle), InMobi, ironSource, Pangle, DT Exchange, Chartboost, Moloco, Amazon, Yandex, myTarget, BIGO Ads, Ogury, PubMatic, Smaato, Verve, MobileFuse and Start.io.
What they may collect
When an ad is requested or shown, Appodeal and these partners may collect:
- your Android advertising ID, and Android ad services signals where your phone supports them;
- your IP address and the approximate location it indicates;
- device details: model, manufacturer, Android version, language, screen size and network type;
- app details: the app's package name and version;
- ad activity: which ads were shown, clicked or watched to the end.
They use this to deliver and measure ads, limit repeats, detect fraud and, where allowed and depending on your settings, show ads based on your interests.
Measurement and error reporting
The advertising SDK package also includes components from Adjust, AppsFlyer, Google Firebase, Meta app events and Sentry. Appodeal can use these for install attribution, ad analytics and diagnosing errors in the advertising SDK. When active, they may receive device identifiers, your IP address and app events such as installs and ad views.
What we see
We don't receive your advertising ID or the data above directly. Appodeal gives us aggregated reports, such as ad impressions and revenue.
Your choices
You can reset or delete your advertising ID and limit personalised ads in your phone's settings (often under Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads). You'll still see ads, but they'll be less tailored. Each partner's own policy explains its practices, including Google's and Meta's.
4. Purchases
Coin packs are sold through Google Play Billing, using Unity's in-app purchasing library. Google processes the payment; we never see your card, UPI or bank details. Google Play tells the game which product you bought and gives it a purchase token and order number, so the game can deliver the coins and record the purchase on your phone. Google's Privacy Policy covers your Google account and payment.
5. Reminders and sharing
Reminders are off unless you turn them on in Settings. Android asks for notification permission when you do. Reminders are scheduled on your phone and nothing about them is sent to us.
Share a dabba opens Android's share sheet with an image and a short invitation. You choose the app and the people; that app's privacy policy applies to the message. We don't learn who you share with.
6. Android permissions
| Permission | Why the app declares it |
|---|---|
| Internet, network and Wi-Fi state | Loading ads and completing purchases. The levels themselves work offline. |
| Advertising ID and Android ad services | Used by the advertising SDK and its partners (see section 3). |
| Google Play Billing, license check | In-app purchases through Google Play. |
| Install referrer | Lets advertising and measurement partners attribute an install to an ad. |
| Notifications, run at startup | Optional reminders, and rescheduling them after your phone restarts. |
| Vibrate | Haptic feedback, which you can switch off in Settings. |
| Wake lock, foreground service, storage | Declared by third-party SDK libraries included in the app. Storage permissions only apply to older Android versions. |
The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera or microphone.
7. This website
This site has no cookies, analytics, advertising or sign-up forms, and it loads nothing from other websites: fonts, images and videos are served from this site. It is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request information (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver and protect the site. See Vercel's privacy notice. Links to Google Play and other sites take you to services with their own policies.
8. Children
Mithai Mela is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
9. Retention, choices and requests
- Game data stays on your phone until you uninstall the game or clear its storage.
- Advertising data is kept by Appodeal and its partners under their own policies. Resetting or deleting your advertising ID breaks the link to past activity.
- Emails you send us are kept only as long as we need them to help you and keep a record of the request.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to withdraw consent. Because the game has no account, we usually hold nothing beyond your emails. Contact us and we'll help, including by pointing you to the right partner. Advertising partners may process data outside India.
10. Changes and contact
If the app's data practices change, for example if we add or remove an SDK, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
